Woodend Cricket Club can announce it has appointed Rodney Keane as senior coach for the coming 2010/11 season. Rodney has played for Bacchus Marsh for the past 10 years, being a key player in their recent era of premierships in the McIntyre Cup.

Rodney has a wealth of coaching experience in several sports and coached GDCA junior representative teams last season. During his interview he demonstrated a vision for the future playing development of our club, especially juniors.

Senior Pre-Season Training

Senior Pre-Season Training will begin on Sunday 15th August at the Melton Indoor Centre. Times will be confirmed shortly. Training will continue the following two Sundays - 22nd & 29th August. Training will then continue on Sunday mornings at Gilbert Gordon. (5th, 12th & 19th September) Training on Tuesdays and Thursdays will commence on Tuesday 21st September
